THE NEED
- The Church in Africa is growing at an astounding rate at this time. This generates the need for pastors. However, there is little access to pastoral training or discipleship materials. Most pastors are bi-vocational and unable to afford the time or expense of seminary. Consequently, there is a great need for thorough, biblical, foundational training that is accessible and affordable.
- There is a deep hunger among believers to know the Word of God more deeply and thoroughly. Because of the lack of access to solid biblical training, the void has been filled by many aberrant and predatory cults and practices inconsistent with Christian doctrine and ethics.
- There exists extreme poverty and physical suffering in Africa. Observing how Jesus went to the outcasts and downtrodden with compassion, love and hope, Daystar is committed to training up believers to follow Christ into the slums and refugee camps, bringing the Kingdom of God.
